Worth stepping on baby grass?

During my renovations we had some rain washouts. My grass has only been germinating visibly for about two days. But I know for sure there are areas that need some more grass seed. The issue is that I can't get to those areas without walking on the lawn.
Is it worth taking some steps onto the lawn to touch up those areas because they seem rather large or should I wait a week and then do it?

I step on it all the time without issues because I have to drag sprinklers around. As others mentioned, just do it while its relatively dry and try to turn/pivot as little as possible.

I also tend to wear old flip flops when I do it (worn out and smooth on the bottom) vs wearing sneakers/boots that have aggressive treads. In fact, I have saved an old pair of flip flops for this very reason, but no clue if it actually helps.

Interesting read guys...
I have used scrap plywood 2X and just played hotscotch with the wood moving for each step - figuring load spread is best that way. Otherwise, the baby blade one -sheared- is a dead plant/per seed root.

So might as well ask, what would happen if the baby blade did get sheared /ripped. Will the root have energy to send up a new blade ?

I walk on mine all the time. It flattens a bit and then next time I see it it's back up. My wife hates it when I call it baby grass. So obviously I do it constantly.
My wife says "ah Baby grass so cute. Little green sweeties"

Now you can tell your wife about my wife and she will really be mad...LOL
