Okay I'll give that a try for my yard.
For my mothers yard which of the above products that I linked to would you guys suggest. I don't want to bring my sprayers over there, a Regular push spreader is fine.

Thanks
Which weeds are you seeing? Crab and goose already mentioned are spring emergents, so spring preemergent will largely prevent them. Other weeds are fall/winter emergents so if you didn't put down preemergent in Sept/Oct then those weeds are going to pop up in the spring when the weather warms. Dandelions, henbit, and others are fall/winter emergents.

The Crab and goose is the main one that bothers me, Its really only in one area of the yard but I don't want it to take over. I have some clover and dandelions but they're not terrible and the clover doesn't really bother me. I fought nut sedge for years but I believe I have that under pretty good control after many years of fighting it.

I will buy local if I can I was just using amazon to show the products. My Local feed mill that I use has products but choices do over whelm me as I am just not sure, Last thing i want to do is ruin my lawn it has taken me a long time getting it into shape.

Thank you and I'll read the guide as well.
The guide has your answers. If you want the short version to watch for in your reading, use a split application of prodiamine and another (pendethalin maybe) in the spring. Then prodiamine in the fall.
