Did major overseed and new seed in two reno areas. I've been watering lightly several times a day for a week and am now see excellent germination. Seedlings all over about an inch tall. When I can go back to my normal watering routine?
I usually do five minute waterings three times a day- 8, 12:30, 4 until I see sprouting. Then go back to the regular schedule about a week after the sprouting.

It's been 8 days since the seed went down, and the new grass is really taking off already (I'll be posting a project update soon). I will continue with the frequent light watering this week as well. I'll still have to do my normal 1" of water at some point, so I'll do that at the end of the week. No rain the forecast.
My regular is 1 inch, but I am still getting used to the rachio I put in this year. The water coming from the separate schedule for the seeds pushes off the regular schedule. So I'll stop the seeds through the rachio, and give a little extra manually so the water depletion of that zone can catch up to include it on the flex schedule. It was easier last year with a traditional controller to just change the timing.
My recommendation is to love that watering routine that you've established. I would continue watering at least another week (giving you two weeks total). Then you might consider watering once a day. I believe that is also consistent with what Sinclair did.
I just sort of watched the grass and how everything was coming together and made changes as needed. I watered daily for about three and a half weeks. I'm now at every other day except in areas that I re seeded.
Edited to add: With warmer temps returning I may water daily again if needed.
