Can someone help me identify what type of grass this is? I mostly have bermuda, but I have several large patches of this as well. I was thinking this was tall fescue, but then someone told me they think this might be KBG, so now I'm confused.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Tall Fescue. Older variety.
What's the difference between newer and older varieties?
The primary difference between traditional "tall fescue" and the newer varieties, which are typically called "turf type tall fescue" (TTTF) is the blade width. The newer varieties (TTTF) have finer blades compared to traditional tall fescue.

The photo at the beginning of this article shows the blade width difference pretty well: Turf-Type Tall Fescues Are Here!

TTTF will generally tolerate shorter mowing heights compared to traditional tall fescue as well.
