Good Evening Lawn Gurus
I'm trying to get rid of these weeds in my yard. My next door neighbors weeds are coming through on to my yard. Can you tell me what this weed is and what herbicide can I use to kill it?

I have a handful of that in a corner of my lawn, not sure what it is. Weed B Gon CCO will most likely take care of it. I used Round-Up on mine due to it being bare dirt. Ill eventually clean it up and seed.

I did Weed B Gon and nothing happen. I hope I can get control of this before August when I want to start getting ready to overseed.

The weed is Wild Violet.

Edit to say Triclopyr should kill it so Weed B Gon (the CCO version) should kill it. Will likely require more than one app, follow the label.

All good information thank you what does the abbreviation CCO version mean?

Chickweed, clover, and oxalis. The weed B gone bottle should have these words printed on the label.
You may have to order online. My big box store doesn't carry it, but that may be an isolated case.

The Weed b Gon CCO is normally a gray cap. There are other options/brands, the key is the active ingredient (ai) triclopyr. Follow the label/temperature restrictions. It might take more than one application.
