Hey all, new to the site and new to learning about lawn care. I just inherited an awful looking lawn with my first home purchase.

I've noticed brown patches of grass that won't stand up in the yard. Almost looks like a weed and stringy.

Kindof upfront.
That bottle of Tenacity will last you several years (odds are you could split it with someone or 2, and not run out before it expired, since you state you only have 1000 sqft to treat.)

Good point ....

Any other suggestions on what this might be? I may just pull the trigger and order some tenacity if no other thoughts.
