Mower at 0.875" Thursday. Freshly backlapped and bedknife clearance adjusted. Cut paper and grass like hot knife through butter. Not sure why it looks so awful.

Two things contributing:

Grass is puffy
Yard is not level

Hard to deal with during this time of year. Most sports turf managers are aerating, verticutting, and topdressing to combat this. Some of them every couple weeks

Great...so I'm planning on scalping and verticutting but not sure I have another sand project in me 😂
