I have this question to the experts here, What do you do with the excess herbicide liquids which you need to throw away.
Recently applied prodiamine and few days later some weed control. I mostly make a educated guess how much I need but some time I am left with 1/4 gl or couple of hundred ml of liquid which I need to dispose.
I don't know what is a good place to dispose these liquids without hurting the environment.
Is it OK to thrown them in the drain?

The city should have a disposal site for you. Pretty quick deal when I've used them in the past.

I ALWAYS spray anything I have left over on the neighbors lawn, it's not like they are going to miss a few weeds

I have a few acres that I don't keep up but a few thousand ft get the extra liquid.

Same. I'll walk the edges of the property and overspray a bit. Most of the time though I don't have much leftover.

I agree with donations of weed control to people in need. After a few years of spraying you will have less and less remaining chemicals.

@gardencityboy the correct answer is to follow the label recommendations. But I do tend to spray 3ft into the neighbors. Im also not too concerned with it going into the drain if diluted, since when it rains, some of the applied product goes into the drain.
