What are my options?

I had this spot in my lawn that was bare and seeded about 5-6 weeks ago. I noticed yesterday morning there was a dew web in a patch of the grass.
I left the grass longer than normal due to this crazy heat wave we have going on and I think that may have caused this issue(this seeded patch was longer than the rest of my grass).

I cut the grass last night, and basically half the seeded patch is brown. I believe it's pythium blight or dollar spot maybe (there are a few smaller round brown spots)

Is my only option to reseed this patch? Im guessing the disease/fungus killed it off. Also, what are the chances of it spreading and how can I stop it?

I'm in southern Ontario so I don't have fungicide on hand or quick access to it.

How much seed did you use? Looks super thick for grass that young, which is actually a bad thing since it can essentially strangle/out-compete itself.
