Wetting agent

Yes, you can use it on the whole lawn but it just may take some time to apply it to the whole lawn. Me personally, I have found that the pellets work better as a supplement to monthly applications of the liquid, it's a good 1-2 punch to fight off dry and hydrophobic soil.
So you have found that the Underhill Medalist is best for hydrophobic soil? I’ve had near zero luck with gypsum, soaps, panterra, etc.

thanks in advance

It did work fine for what it is but I have since switched over to the Lesco WetPlus and LescoFLO Ultra. I haven't used the LescoFLO yet but the WetPlus is probably equivalent to Medalist. I think the LescoFLO Ultra is closer to Tournament Ready which is the best I have used so far.

I don't know why you applied Gypsum in the hopes of letting water soak into your lawn better and soaps are just that soaps that will wash away after a rain or two. Panterra is a wetting agent but it's designed to pull water down through the soil so water doesn't pool up on the surface.
Thank you for the quick reply. And you’re happier with the Lesco product? My issue is hydrophobic soil. Good amount of clay in the northwest. I’m hoping that these products will address that.

Hello again,
I wasn’t able to get a Lesco product due to my location, but I was able to get my hands on H2O maximizer. Which mixing instructions did you follow for your lawn. There are about four different ways to mix this stuff. I’m guessing I should go with the mixing instructions for a conventional tank on fairways or commercial lawns? Looks like I would mix about 15 ounces per 20 gallons to get my half acre covered. Appreciate any insight you have on using this product. Thank you.
