It looks like mouse ear chickweed. Can you post pictures from a couple more spots or pull a few out of the ground?

Kind of looks like corn speedwell, but I'm not 100 percent certain. I'd google image search it and compare the weed. Also search winter annuals with prostrate growth habit.

I think the actual name is not as important as how to treat it.

Use weed b gon CCO (ai tricopyr).

That is why I was trying to identify the weed so I make sure I treat it properly.
