So my wife put the kabash on using ANY chemicals on the lawn. So i hand pulled what I could, dug out the patch of crabgrass so it wouldnt spread, DUG UP that patch and put down sod and top soil.

i got creeping charlie to deal with in the backyard, which im trying to convince my wife to let me do a fall pre-emergent with.

Hmm. Some weeds grow more by pulling since it splits the roots in two.

Does she know that the sod has chemicals in it (from the sod farm)? Or that the lawn needs DHMO to survive? http://www.dhmo.org/facts.html
