Hey ya'll - I have some weed mitigation I am working on and was wondering if Weed B Gon CCO will take care of wild violet? I have the regular Weed B Gon that I have been spot spraying with that seems to take care of most of my weeds/dandelions but isn't touching the wild violet that is coming in hard from my neighbors property. I have read some reviews on CCO and some say it doesn't touch wild violet... If CCO wont, does anyone know what will? Thanks for your help!

Triclopyr is the best way, but it is slow. Wbg cco is triclopyr. You could get a higher rate of triclopyr product if you want to. I would add non-ionic surfactant (nis) to any product to help it.

CCO + surfactant, 2-3 sprays 1-2 weeks apart.

I have used with great success spot spraying Ortho ready to use poison ivy killer in the spray bottle, It also has triclopyr .With in days you will see yellowing of the leaves

It will definitely hurt wild violet, but you have to be persistent. Use a surfactant and spray at least 3 times 2 weeks apart. Fall treatments have seemed to be even more effective than spring ones.

I've also had luck with Tenacity, but still recommend the CCO
