Hey,
Wondering if anyone has any ideas on why my timemaster is consuming so much fuel.
I posted last year about issues I had with it that lead to a non-warranty covered engine replacement.
Challenge I have now is the new engine is consuming fuel at a much higher rate than the old one. I know the timemaster does not have a big fuel tank, but my old engine I could easily do about 10,000 square feet before re-fueling.
With the new one, I barely make 7,500 square feet and this morning, while taking my time on the lawn, I got to about 5,000 square feet and ran empty.
I don't think there is a leak anywhere. I left it full for a couple days and saw no gas on the ground and would think I'd be getting some deadspots in the lawn if it was leaking out.
The local dealer I got the work done at seems to be closed.
any ideas on something simple I could check or do would be appreciated. Really hate to have to take it into a shop during the busy cutting season. thanks!
Dan
