It varies by cultivar, time of year, soil, and cultural practices. A lot of the newer cultivars don't grow super fast like the older ones apparently did.

@Green Would current PRG cultivars blend in well with a TTTF/KBG lawn ? I need to fix a bunch of poa annua patches that are browning out. I started some KBG pots that will not be ready for another 2 months. The brown patches are very annoying.

Absolutely. My front lawn is a mix of all three, as well as some fine fescue, and looks great. All three are the same color.
