Using Proplugger to seed bermuda?

1138 Views 7 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Colonel K0rn
Just ordered a proplugger and I'm going to use it to seed some of the bare patches in my lawn. My question is, what is a good procedure/ hole filling mix to use (soil, sand, fertilizer, etc.)? Also what dept should I use?

But, a proplugger pulls large tubes or dirt. 2",4",6". How will that help with seeding with a large and deep hole? I would recommend a garden weasel for smaller spots. Roll it back and forth until the dirt is all loose, drop seed, roll once more to work it into the dirt. Cover with peat moss or something to help retain moisture if you wish.
