I've been using Southern Belle the last few overseedings, at new house and old but it doesn't seem to come in as thick as it did when I first put in it back in the mid-90's. So I'm trying to find another seed or blend that will do well in the Va. Beach area. The 2010 NTEP report for Va. Beach shows 3rd Millennium, Firecracker LS and Spyder LS as scoring well. I found a local nursery that has a blend with Firecracker and Spyder along with another seed that I can't remember. Unfortunately, their price was higher that what I can find online.

34.92% Avenger II Tall Fescue
34.85% Titanium 2LS Tall Fescue
29.76% Raptor III Tall Fescue
All show germination rate of 90%
zero crop and weed, inert 0.47%
Is is safe to assume that 4th Millennium would perform as well or better than 3rd? Has anyone else in this area tried it?
I was thinking about ordering 4th Millennium, Firecracker LS and Spyder LS from United Seed and blend myself. Any concerns with this plan?
