no, but I have a bag of resiliennce in the garage that is going down this weekend. And my side lawn is a TTTF/KBG mix. I overseed with a straight TTTF since overseeding bluegrass into a reasonably decent lawn is tough. For what you want blue resilience should be a good grass for our area.

So should I only do the bare spots made from irrigation installation with blue resilience and the rest of lawn overseed with resilience II?

 

No, use the same blue resilience 2 for all of it. No sense in using two separate things. The blue grass will germinate better in the bare spots but you'll still get some in the rest of the lawn.

 

I spring seeded a plot this year with it. It’s good stuff. Germinates quickly and comes in dense and healthy. Has a very uniform fine blade and as the name implies - it’s been very resilient through the hot and humid summer. I can see the bluegrass did get established but I have yet to see it start spreading. Maybe once I start dropping fertilizer on it this spring.

It should blend in great with the other grass types in your lawn. Go for it.
