I'm planning on having two white oak trees taken out of a bed in the middle of my front yard. I'm also removing close to a dozen smaller shrubs and trees. I plan to put Bermuda in that space so my whole front yard will be turf. My question is should I wait some time between removal of the trees and shrubs and laying new sod? The thought I have is maybe the soil would be in better condition after some time has passed since the trees and shrubs won't be pulling nutrients from it. Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Do the tree and shrub removal Monday morning. Do the sod install Tuesday. Nutrient deficiencies are quite easy to overcome in most cases. And with new sod, it'll be a week or two before the sod is tapping into anything that was deemed surplus by the trees/shrubs.

Oaks do not have aggressive roots once cut. Once the tree is cut and stump grinded the roots will begin to decay. When the big roots decay you will have an impression and uneven lawn after decay. Top dress would take care of that.
The smaller trees shouldnt cause you issues depending on their variety.
Google aggressive tree roots for a list of trees you need to worry about.

Every time a neighbor takes out a tree too big for a hacksaw, that needs a grind....will have a depression overtime because the extra step of compacting is skipped. So I'd rent one or have enough fill that anticipates it

Are you having the stumps ground, dug up, or leaving the stumps and letting them decompose overtime?

It will take several years for the soil to achieve the compactness that it had before it was disturbed. Even with a compactor, there will be a need to re-level several times. Recall that I had two large oak trees removed in April 2017. I did not immediately plant grass I allowed the area to settle, refilled, and settle again. I planted plugs April 9 of this year. It's reasonable level, but it still needs sand.
