Does anyone know when Toro moved from the bed bar adjustment bolt without the little detent ring around it (like this one) to the one that does have that (like this one)?
The first picture is of my mower. The model number is 04052, but when I look at the replacement parts for that model it doesn't show the type of adjustment bolt found on my mower.
Just wondering if anyone else out there has the same type of bed bar adjust that I have and if you've been able to find the correct parts manual.
I don't have a GM1000, so I could say. I'm guessing you need a replacement Bolt? Can you take a closer picture of the bolt in question? If found some replacement parts at Lowe's nut/Bolt department.
I actually don't need to replace that bolt, it just made me hesitant to order any other parts from that diagram on the R&R site knowing that the diagram didn't match my mower. I actually realized this morning that the Parts Catalog I downloaded from Toro's site is correct. Looks like the GM1000 Model 04052 spans about 25 different blocks of serial numbers...not all having the same parts. The R&R replacement parts site seems to assume that all Model 04052 mowers have the same set of parts. Just something to be aware of if you are ordering parts from them.
