Yep you are close to the limit. I calculate 1.23# AI/acre. limit is 1.5# AI/acre. You put down enough for 9-10 months. No reason for a fall application. I target 0.80 # AI/acre for 6-month coverage so i can overseed in the fall if needed.

.68% (.0068) of 50lbs = 0.34lbs of prodiamine per bag. You've applied 0.028 lbs (.44oz) per 1000sqft or pure prodiamine.
Comparing that to the liquid label as a guide, they recommend no more than .35oz pure per 1000/per year for KBG/PRG or .53oz pure for TTTF.

So your profile says you've got TTTF, so you're good for now. I would examine another product if you're insistent on applying something in the fall, for what you're trying to control.

 

Thanks for the info, should have done my homework before just throwing down a bag. Overall weeds not to big of an issue other than some POA annua. Maybe some dithiopyr in the fall for POA/any winter weeds?

 

Not hijacking here as I think it's part of the same question. How do you determine the length of coverage that gives you? My label was .37%. The label lists the max rate and I applied half that, but there was no indication of length of coverage.

 

Lesco has it right on the bag. This was for the 0.68% prodiamine. I applied ~17.3# of product for 6 month coverage for 6500 sq ft. 0.80# AI/acre.

 

Yeah, I think mine had it last year. Maybe it was the .68% rate as well. This one did not have the chart for some reason. Thanks to @Green for the help.

 

I have been using Andersons Barricade with good results. Andersons is hard to find right now in 50 lb. Bags. I assume Lesko would be the same at a higher percentage. It is also cheaper. Is my assumption correct.
