I've been cutting 1" since scalping in Apr. I'm starting to notice brown spots where it appears to be cutting low. Has anyone started raising their HOC? We had several days of downpours which resulted in me cutting at 5 days instead of 3 and I'm guessing accentuated the problem. My lawn is also fairly unlevel. Should I bump up a notch or press on at 1". I'd have pictures but it's dark now...

@Dico112lr4 Yeah, I raised mine up a notch because I haven't been able to mow when it's been super wet out.

Did you end up buying any growth regulator to spray? That should help some. I raised mine even though it was already on PGR.

Just me. Instead of chasing the height I would scalp it down and start fresh. My front yard I use a rotary, it was getting long and stringy so I just wacked it down to the lowest setting. Two weeks later it looks great again. Probably would not do that with other grasses. Bermuda...yeah.
