Mclane's are thought to be a good starter reel, it's cheap, it's local, it's missing a $20 rear wheel. Ad a front roller and I'm in the club for $370.

Thoughts?

I've been communicating with the owner. He bought it a few weeks ago from a neighbor who was moving. He's only used it once. He doesn't know the year, or the history of service/sharpening.

It looks like a little above average McLane. 200$ is a pretty good price. I am guessing his neighbor who was moving gave him a good deal, possible lower than the $200. Its always worth a shot of offering a lower price. It is the 10 blade reel which is better than the 7.

If you interested just make sure they demo it so you know its working well. Check the reel and bedknife for any significant dings.

If all that checks out I think it would be good reel!
