Thinning *** lawn

Hey all,

I’ve had a few thinning patches on my lawn this year and am worried about disease. I have irrigation and lawn has done quite well before this year. Waterings haven’t changed although we’ve experienced a wetter summer. I notice some spotting (leaf spot? Image 1) and am looking for a remedy. Should I dry it out? Fertilizer has been a bit lighter this year. *** spreads elsewhere but not it certain places like this.

Low P can be an issue also here.

Ideas? Solutions?

Let’s start with what has changed.
Your watering the same as always.
Although you’ve had a wetter season than normal.

looks like fungus ——-

Only advice I have is
Get your watering in check
I use a rain gauge to see how much rain actually falls in my yard( actually have a few around the yard) then I did a audit of my “system” to make sure I was getting the correct amount.
Been lucky myself and only need to run the sprinklers 3 times so far.

thanks! Appreciate this response. I have a rain gauge hooked up to my Rachio and have manually entered the water rates in the zones. It should be adjusting the amounts accordingly and does skip or lessen waterings if major rains forecast but it’s feels like the issue could be more of it never drying out vs too much water falling. Strangely the well shaded parts of the lawn with similar watering frequencies seem healthy and lush
