Damn my lawn is pooping with weeds this year. For some reason I decided to try core aeration last year (watching too many youtube vids I guess). I think/know that has really kicked things into overdrive this spring. I have chickweed, clover, bittercress, wild violet, and probably a couple others to a lesser degree. And of course both POA's. Arghh.

I've spot sprayed with Speedzone, which has helped, but seems like whenever I go out and look there's new weeds popping up.

Thinking of dropping this; https://www.bioadvanced.com/products/lawn-fertilizers/all-one-weed-feed. It has 2,4-d, quinclorac and dicamba. I know it won't control the POAs.

Has anyone had good experience with a blanket app like this with granular? I could continue to spot spray, but feel like I'll be doing this until June.

Also, I'm ok with the .75lb of N at bag rate.

Thanks!

Granular weed and feeds are always poor. It's because the leaf of the plant needs to soak it in, but it can't when it's a powder. So you have to apply it to a wet lawn and hope it sticks.

It would be better to use a liquid version. There are hose end versions that make covering the whole yard easier:
