I haven't had my sprinklers on for 2 or 3 weeks. Certain parts are showing signs of overwatering is there anything i can do or should do? Would mowing it low help, or maybe not mowing it all for a few days? Thanks in advance for any help.

I had an irrigation leak that happened right when my sod was laid. On that side section of my yard it stayed completely soaked and soggy until it was fixed over a month later. Now today it is 100% green and healthy like the rest of the yard. I didn't mow it at all and once it was dry I mowed same hoc as rest which was about 5/8 and it recovered fine from the scalp. I have Tifgrand Bermuda. Didn't know what variety you had but that's my experience

I have the same problem with my St Aug in the backyard. My station recorded 4.8 inches in the last 5 days. The backyard is soaked, and in need of a cut. My thoughts are that cutting the lawn will give the soil more opportunity to dry out quicker, I did not want to cut with my rotary today because it is heavy, and the ground is saturated, so I cut it with my Fiskars reel at about 3 inches. After cutting I put some fungicide down to help prevent fungus from taking hold.
