I just wanted to share my experience and how awesome it was to talk to them. I found out about them through this forum and realized they were right down the road from me here in Nashville. I called to find out about some seed prices for KBG and talked to Steven. He talked turf grass with me for over 20 minutes and was so knowledgeable he came up with a custom plan to experiment with bluegrass incorporated into my Bermuda backyard. He had been trying the same thing in his yard with success. Come this fall I will be picking up a custom blend put together by him to try my hand at this bluemuda project. These guys are great I highly recommend them and will go nowhere else in the future. If your looking for seed give them a call. Hell just talking about turf for 20 minutes with someone other than my wife made my week!!

I had the same experience with Steven and the Hogan Seed Company!
He asked why I wanted a specific blend and tailored it so the TTTF and KBG would work together in the right proportions. I reseeded last May with a full reno. The lawn is beautiful and they even called me this year to see how everything worked out. I will get my seed from nowhere else! Those guys are top notch pros.

This is fall of 2018, ~5 Months after seed

I had a great experience with The Hogan Company as well. I bought an 8 cultivar KBG blend that they recommended, provided plenty of insight and help with the process. Called several months after purchase to see how things were going. Great A+ service, and would definitely recommend and purchase from them again.

I like Hogan's as well, and it is clear to me that they make customer service a priority. Last year I spoke with the man himself (Bob Hogan) for 45 minutes or so. I called to place an order for a seed mix, and I ended up talked about everything from dethatching to DIY sprinkler systems.

Yeah, it's amazing where the conversations go sometimes. One time when I talked with him, I mentioned how I had been looking at seed at my local store with the name brand labels. He asked me what cultivars were in that seed these days. He recognized all the names, and told me one of those was top notch when it first started being grown. Not only that, but the next cultivar I mentioned from the blend, he told me he had actually named, personally, and that it was an excellent one, but even he can't get it anymore.
