Hello there! I’m in zone 10a in Southern California. Looking to make the jump to a tall fescue lawn. I missed my window last year doing a lawn renovation for soil temperatures. I was going to seed Bermuda but decided to hold off until this year. So to save my top soil over Christmas, I seeded annual ryegrass. So it’s starting to heat up here, and it’s going to be 80 next week. So I don’t think my annual ryegrass is going to make through the summer. My front yard is 50% shade and the back is 15% shade. With that in mind, planning on transitioning to tall fescue.
Any recommendations for a phenomenal tall fescue seed company to use for a lawn in Southern California 10a?? What types of cultivars of tall fescue would work best?
