I am lining a window well with stone veneer panels and was hoping for some recommendations for a sealer. I tried Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnating Sealer(solvent based), which claims to not change the color of the stone, but it did so quite dramatically. This was the product recommended by the stone veneer manufacturer but they are of no help. My goal is to keep the stone from having mold or mildew stain the surface, as it will be in the shade most of the day. Please see the attached pic of the test piece I tried this sealer on. One coat of the sealer is on the panel to the left, nothing is applied to the panel on the right. This was applied indoors in the mid 70's and allowed to dry for 24 hours. This is in Keizer, OR where freezing for any length of time is rare, just wet and cool most of the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
