I recently had irrigation system installed and I’m waiting on my first powered reel mower to come in (Revolution 26). I have a Bermuda sod lawn, about 6 yrs old. I’ve been cutting low with my rotary to train the grass before my reel mower comes in; HOC approximately 1.25”.
There are a few sprinkler heads that are high enough that I can’t mow over them with the rotary. I can only assume if they’re too high for the rotary, then they will be too high for the reel.
I asked the irrigation contractor to come lower the heads, but it seems like they just raised the soil around those heads, as I’m still having the same issue. Any advice?
