I'm curious what the spreading rate/how aggressive KBG is. I'm wanting a self healing grass, tired of reseeding. I have the opportunity to try KBG HGT at a reasonable price. I won't sod everything and may try plugging. So that's the reason I'm curious as to how aggressive it is. I know nothing is as aggressive as Bermuda though. Thanks

It should grow about the size of a dinner plate during a growing season but it all depends on a lot of other things

I've read about the "dinner plate" size in a growing season as well as gaps getting filled by 3" from every side in a month's time. I personally am seeing great spreading even though visible top growth has been ceased for a couple weeks here. My stand was planted in May/June so given other's experiences it will only get more aggressive in the next year or two.

I wish I would've thought of growing some KBG in a pot earlier like that. If I would've planned everything better, I would've planted several grasses in sections this summer/fall.

Definitely interested to see how that progresses.
