I'm no expert on spreaders, having only owned a Scotts and a Spyker, but there seems to be one design flaw common to both of them, the last bit of fertilizer requires stupid amouts of jiggling about to get rid of. Is there a spreader which doesn't do this?

I was trying the weigh it out and spread until empty method so it's particularly annoying not to be able to properly spread the last bit.

Definitely overkill for a Fert spreader... but we use a "dry lube" / talcum powder type product in seed boxes so they'll meter seed out evenly. Don't know if that'd be a solution or worth the effort for granular products🤓
