Hello everyone,
This grass suddenly started growing in one section of my lawn. I think its a grass. Its very thin, soft and stringy. Anyone have any idea what this is?

Could be wild onion. Hard to tell from the pic. If you dig up a bunch of it does it have bulbs at the base?

My vote is for star of bethlehem. The blades look flat with a v shape and a white line down the middle. Crush up one in your fingers and smell it. Shouldn't smell like onion or garlic. Just plant odor.
