I've been using a pre emergent with Pendimethalin as the AI. It has done a great job over the last few years. It's doesn't last as long in the soil as some other pre-m's but it does list sandburs or stickers as we call them on the label. I normally do 2 sprays during the growing season.
First step is a good pre emergent. That will kill most of them before they even become a problem. The pre-m should take care of most of them but there will be some that make it. Once you see some I would blanket spray MSMA as long as the weather isn't too hot. It will probably stunt your Bermuda a little but it will be fine within 3-5 days.
Here is a tip I got from a Turf grass professor when I seeded my Riviera. If the weather is going to be over 95° or so spray in the evening when the temp starts to drop and make sure the product dries on the blade. The next day run a cycle of irrigation mid morning before it gets hot to rinse it off the blades. That will minimize damage but still expect some burnout. Within 3-5 days the Bermuda will have out grown the damage. Most grassy weeds will be toast, some stubborn ones like Goosegrass and Dallisgrass might require a repeat application 14 days later.
