I know this is old, but @roluxstu, two questions:

1. Does that verticutter fit the x17, x20 and x25?
2. If so, can it be ordered in the United States?

Hey! Contrary to the other responder, we do have a groomer for the 17” (busy working on 20” and 25”) and we will soon have stock in the US.

Also, we never talk competition down. Well done to Trident for making a product to fit our machine.. Good on them! I have no idea of the quality of their product as I haven’t tried it. But I’m sure it is good, and then it’s just about cost of getting to the US from Aus. Again, can’t really help here 😃

the one from Trident mowers is for a cox professional. youll find that the cox professional is the same mower as the rolux...

hint look at the side cover, and manuals for the cox professional that rolux doss not have on their website or pdf form. So yes a verticutter/groomer cylinder from Trident made for the cox professional will work on the rolux.

No offense to Rolux, but they will likely tell you something like 'its not the same quality or they are cheap imitations.' Yet cox/rolux don't currently sell verticutter or groomer cylinder. While a third party manufacturer out of AU(Trident, who restores mowers and makes custom cylinders) does indeed make cylinders for this mower aka the cox professional...or rolux... whatever you wanna call it in whatever country its named.

You’re absolutely right. Trident do make them and by all accounts they’re very good!! But yes, they do fit our machines. We do have a range though. Currently only 17” but soon to bring out a 20” and 25” groomer. These will be in the US soon.

We arent the type to talk down competition and so I wouldn’t try push anyone away from one brand or another. We make and sell both Rolux and Cox machines so for all intents and purposes, they are the same 😃
