I plan on buying a lawn roller and I'm trying to decide between a push or a pull behind model. I aim concerned that a 600lb. lawn tractor might be to much weight to push grass seed in.

On my first renovation, I used a JD LT160 (curb weight of 400 lbs) and pulled a roller. I had no issues with too much weight. It pressed the seeds in just fine.

I also used my zero turn/tractor to pull a roller during a reno. No problem whatsoever.
