Are there any reel mowers out there that are middle of the road price-wise? I feel like I can get a $159 push reel or a $1250 California trimmer with nothing in between. Is there anything in the $500-$800 range out there that does the job well?

Used greens mower can be found at the 800-1000 range. It may need work to get up and running. Replacing the belts, reel, and bedknife are the most common immediate maintenance need and run about 300-500, more if you want OEM parts.
