I have some crabgrass and some yellow nutsedge that I'd like to eliminate. 20k of tifway 419 that I'd like to live another day. The weeds are prevalent enough that I'm thinking blanket app, I could spot treat but it's easy enough for me to blanket. It's hot here now, highs in the 90s plus every day. What's everyone's favorite weapon? All I have in my inventory at the moment is MSM, and the crabgrass just laughs at that.

Well fertilized and irrigated turf? I agree, skip the MSM. It only affects Crabgrass at rates that are very dangerous to nearby trees and shrubs. I use Monument+Celsius. Other one that I liked in hot weather was MSMA, but do not get caught with that.

I get not using MSMA due to legality reasons but if you had to there is still a place that sells it.

I used image (sulfentrazone and quinchlorac) and it worked a number on the nutsedge in my Bermuda. However I applied it at a 1.5 to 1.75 rate, accidentally, and it yellowed the Bermuda significantly.

Did you happen to see the top question on the link you posted (and answer)? Haha. Not sure how some people make it day to day.

@coreymays22 that would be due to applicator error. MSMA is safe for bermuda, but there is risk of turfgrass injury at high temps or if applied to heavily.

@Aarsudstrike Greendoc is a professional. Using any product in any manner inconsistent with the products label is out of the question.
@spammage I agree 100%. In fact, I have some from an old stash that I use on crabgrass every year. I just thought it was crazy that someone put it on their yard without adding any water.
