Hi, I have a question, I started a reno on a small section of my front lawn this past Sept early Oct. the area was basically dead from summer drought and high temps. I seeded one section and the seed took off in a slow rate but did well so I continued with the reno since the weather was still warm in the afternoons and quite sunny, that area had just started to fill in when the temps suddenly dropped into the 40s and now 20s, I have had the section roped off so there would be no foot traffic as the seedlings grew. Now that the ground is frozen and the grass is dormant do I still need to keep the area roped off or will it survive foot traffic through the winter and revive in the spring?
