Sometimes I think we over complicate calibrating our sprayers. I made it easy and spray 1 Gallon for every 1,000 sq.ft. How did I arrive at that number? I measured out 1000 sq ft at my old house and filled my sprayer with 2 gallons. I practiced over and over until I got my walking speed down to where I was spraying 1 gallon on 1,000 sq.ft.

I never timed my sprayer output. I had excellent results from my spray apps.

The 3 month rate for Prodiamine is 0.18 dry oz per 1,000 sq ft.

If you are spraying 2,760 sqft. do yourself a favour and round that up to 3,000. In this case, you would mix 0.54 dry oz of Prodiamine with 3 gallons of water. Spray half the amount in one direction and the spray the rest in a perpendicular fashion. This will help ensure uniform coverage.

If you are spraying the 8,000 sq.ft. your profile says you have, multiply 0.18oz x 8. You would need to fill your sprayer twice.
