Hi,
First time using prodiamine and I've done a lot of research and a bit confused on the calculations...
First, the prodiamine I have is granules that need to be mixed with water.
Second, I have a harbor freight 4 gallon sprayer. I calibrated it at .5 gallon in 2:38 minutes for 26.5x13 (345 sq.ft). I thought doing 1/128 of an acre would help according to one video, but I think that only helps for liquid ounces.
According to math, that means I can cover 2760 sq.ft of lawn per tank. Next I went to the grass daddy prodimine calculator and found that "You need to apply 0.51oz of Prodiamine WDG over 2760 square feet."
I assume this means dry ounces? Now I know that 16 oz is 1 lb, so I need .032 lbs mixed into 4 gallons of water. Is that right?
And what does it matter that it took 2:38 minutes? I didn't use that in any calculations.
