I'm looking for a Pre-emergent for crabgrass that kids are safe to play in once it dries. I've been reading up this morning and label after label talk about not letting animals graze/burning feet/etc. Doesnt mention kids but if its going to burn the animals feet after it's dry than I wouldnt trust it with the kids.

I just ordered a tow behind sprayer but the forsythia just started blooming 2 days ago. so this first timer is pretty anxious/excicted to get rolling.

After you water it in, keep the pets and kids off it for a day while it dries. Safe once dry.

They have a one a day pill for that, but the Mrs has to be the one to take it. :bandit:

Pre emergents are safe once they dry. Maybe give 24 hours before contact with kids/pets, just to be extra safe?

Sorry for the reality check, but parks, soccer fields, etc all use chemicals and kids play in it. Once the preM us absorbed by the soil, it is all good. I tend to spray right before a rain, so the it gets watered in and the kids can't play.
