This is a pretty functional tool for those who plant lots of flowers. I saw a landscape contractor using one like it last season. Knew I had to have one for planting flowers for the wife.
The Power Planter is made of tempered and hardened steel. The low cost bulb planters are soft. In my hard soils with coral, roots, and rocks, bulb planters have bent or the spiral part peeled itself from the shaft. I use the Power Planter for making holes to set irrigation heads in addition to planting grass. So far, I have not seen any disassembly of the Power Planter.
