I have a fairly thick centipede lawn but was having some weed issues so I took a sample of the weeds I wanted to kill to my local landscape supply store, SiteOne. He identified the weed and gave me some Dismiss NXT to do a blanket application on my lawn. I did the application Friday, but while I was at lowes I noticed they had a 0-0-7 "crabgrass preventer" now I didnt need the crabgrass preventer but I did need the Potash so I decided to throw that down later in the day just to boost my macro value a little bit. Today comes and I have a very large cast of damaged grass across my entire lawn. I do not think it is the Dismiss purely due to the fact that I sprayed my neighbors lawn as well with the dismiss and they are not having the issues. I only put the Potash on my lawn so im thinking thats the issue. Anybody ever have anything like this happen, anything I should do in the mean time while the grass heals itself? I have attached pictures of the potash and the lawn.

Lesco 0-0-7 is the very thing I never want to see on a Centipede lawn. The 7 is from Potassium Chloride. Salt. Out of all of the warm season grasses, Centipede is the most salt sensitive. The balance of what is in the bag, based on what other people who have used it is limestone. Centipede does not need or want lime applied to it either.

Welcome to TLF!!

I think it's the Dismiss as I think it has a temperature restriction above 85F. Did you just apply that ONE bag of 0-0-7 to the entire lawn? If so, I don't think that would cause any issues. Just FYI, I wouldn't use any product like 0-0-7 to add Potassium(Potash) to the lawn, as the amount you used would have a negligible effect if any, you would want to look for Sulfate of Potash or Potassium Sulfate(Depending on who you talk to :D ). The Potash in the 0-0-7 is just used as a carrier for the PreM.

*EDIT* Looks like Greendoc beat me to the punch

What a difference location makes. In Hawaii, every place with a garden or nursery department has Ammonium Sulfate. I can get 20 lb bags albeit at 21/2 times the price per pound 7 days a week 24 hours a day even. Even Walmart has Ammonium Sulfate.
