Poa t

So, the snow melted for a few days and I got to survey the land. As I wait for spring and the snow to melt again, I wanted to verify spots like this are POA t.

Last year I had the same thought it was baby grass because it was lighter and did nothing and then it was too late. Now I am more aware and wants to kill it right away, but for sanity, want to be sure it is POA t and not something else even.

Light green, circular patch...

Glyphosate or dig up 2-3 feet beyond it in every direction and pray that you got it all. It spreads like the plague and you won't know until it's too late.

Question: any idea on how it got there?

I know you told me earlier, but I dont remember near what large city you are in ohio. Could you update your profile?

This patch was there in the fall, correct?

It could be Poa Annua, or Poa T. Do the blades have the wavy partern like this
?
See less See more
Cleveland.

I'll have to look when the snow melts. It came on late(er) fall when there was nothing more I could do.

I killed some patches in some areas I could sort of see it. But once summer hits it seems to blend a bit. It is only super obvious now and in the spring.

Obvious, in that it is a much lighter/brighter green and grows faster than. The rest
