This was an interesting article on root density and stolon growth evaluation of various PGR.

It concluded that PGR doesn't effect root density.
Everyone on Youtube says otherwise.

Primo effected lateral stolon growth by 55%.
Cutless PGR didnt effect lateral growth but is way to expensive.
This was with a St Augustine lawn.

I need to do more research but I may skip the PGR until my lawn fills out more.

You know this study was done on St. Augustine and NOT bermuda right? I would take the results with a grain of salt as PGR has different effects on different grasses.

Maybe do a test area and see how it goes?

I agree you cant compare apple to oranges.
I dont have to be at work until 12 noon during the day so I spend my mornings mowing my lawn instead of going to the gym. I am still using an American Standard 18" push mower to mow my yard. So it is my workout. I might actually have to go to the YMCA if I used PGR.

I did alot of research and you are right that study doesnt sound right.
PGR is used on all kinds of plants and in the farming industry to thicken up plants and is an alternative to pinching.
So it logically should do the same for turf.

Its just like my brother says (Politician)
"You can always find a study to support that the sky is Green if you look hard enouph"
