Menards is having a sale on premier peat moss for $4.99 for a 2.2 cu. ft. bag. If i buy now would it be okay to be used in August? I don't know if it has a expiration date on it/ i know it has to be kept dry until it is used.- thanks.

Peat Moss has no "use by date." It'll be good a couple of hundred years from now. :D :thumbup:
It's already several millions of years old.

It can hold on til August. :thumbup:
Get it now and try to find a Peat Moss spreader/roller. Best thing I ever rented.

I wanted one of those so bad last year when I was doing my renovation. Sadly, couldn't find one to rent. I feel like it would make the peat go so much further.
Some home depots offer them for rental. They might also be referred to as compost spreaders at your local rental place.
We have a home depot here so i will check them out for a spreader. 25 bags in the garage;
+1 on the peat spreader. Best rental decision I ever made.
