Looking to overseed my lawn in about a week or two following dethatching. I live in SW Ohio with a lawn where the majority gets 75+% sunlight with a smaller portion getting about 50%. The lawn currently consists of a wide mix of tall fescue and kentucky bluegrass.

My question is, what type of seed would you recommend for overseeding this lawn? Also, where can I order reliable quality seed from and are there different types specifically for overseeding? Not worried about price.

If you're waiting another 2 weeks, you might have to use Perennial Rye.

What would you recommend if I did within the next week? Will TF or KBG not germinate if I seed 2 weeks from now?

How close are you to the Dayton area? The best seed supplier in the state of Ohio has two stores there with excellent varieties.
