Hello everyone,
I need some advice. I'm overseeding my lawn with Tall Fescue. Where I live watering is not allowed between 11am and 7pm. I have an in ground sprinkler system and would like some recommendations on water settings. Thanks.

Check with your local municipality. Some places drop the watering restrictions if you're trying to grow seed. It's worth a shot anyways.

Ask for a waiver.

If not I would make sure to try to time the irrigation to finish at 10:59am. This will provide moisture going into the afternoon heat. A light dose at 7pm will then might be needed. The key is to keep the soil moist.
