I have another Nor'Easter coming my way, 3rd or 4th this year. After this week the extended forecast is all 50s and 60s. I am thinking I'll spray my Prodiamine tomorrow. Then water it in with the snow /rain mix. My area could get up to 5". Do you guys see any potential problems with doing it like that?

G-man if he means 5" of snow then that would be equivalent to less than 1" of rain. I won't comment on effects bc I don't have experience, but I do think crunk is referring g to snow. I'm supposed to get more of that unwanted crap too.
Yes, up to 5" of snow. I was wondering if there was a difference. I think I'll wait, just to be safe.

Snow is a great way to water it in. Nice slow trickle from melt really cuts down on runoff. The only thing I'd question, is 5" of snow enough water. It'll depend on the liquid equivalent of the snow. I.e. if you took 1 sq ft of snow @ 1" and melted, how much water would yoy actually have. Temperature will play a lot into that.

I edited my response above. I thought you meant 5in of rain since the post said snow/rain mix. It is too many unknown factors (temperature, water rate, etc). I will recommend waiting for a better forecast.

I really hadn't considered the difference until reading these responses. I'll have to check the weather station near me after the storm. They will have it as inches of precipitation, instead of snow/rain mix.
