Over here in alabama i'm about at my wits end. I put down 34-0-0 after my grass was struggling. I burned areas all over my yard.

I keep trying to fix mistakes with more chemicals and it keeps getting worse.
At this point i'm going to back off pretty hard.

I know i need to water andlet the grass recover.

Good news: its bermuda, i know it will come back
Bad news: i'm not a patient person

Same here in Memphis....I'm suffering from the same things....I'm contemplating just backing off for the rest of the summer. Good luck. Like you said;. It'll eventually grow out.

Was there dew on the ground before or after (meaning next morning) applying the fert?

The lower the HOC the more susceptible to fert burn. The granules tend to sit on top of the grass. Combined with morning dew and sun can easily cause this.
